Dear Jack,
I am writing to tell you how much we love our cabin. We were very warm and cozy all through our first winter. The soaring interior architecture, with high, beautifully crafted timber-framing keeps us lying in bed a few extra minutes every morning soaking up the charm and grace.
As a builder and restorer of classic wooden boats, I truly admire and am impressed with the high level of craftsmanship throughout the cabin. The logs are so carefully fitted as to be virtually seamless. And the spiral wood staircase was a truly inspired addition that always draws exclamations of praise and admiration from visitors.
As a whole, the beauty of the architecture combined with the exquisite craftsmanship has resulted in a “dream-come-true” home for us. We appreciate the care and attention to detail so much that we call the den the “Jack Fabjanski Memorial Library”. We just wanted you to know how much we love our cabin, and how often we think of the man who built it.
